The Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) announced a new review/approval process for Guaranteed Transfer (GT) Pathways courses in October 2016, which all institutions are required to comply with.  All existing GT Pathways courses must be resubmitted for re-approval to comply with the revised GT Pathways content criteria and competencies that were approved by CCHE on 6/2/16.  Additional explanation can be found on the CDHE website.

At CSU, a course change proposal must be submitted through the CIM-Courses website (accessed through ARIESweb) for each existing GT Pathways courses.  Templates have been prepared with the exact language and information that must be included on each instructor’s syllabus for a GT Pathways course.  Please access the appropriate template in the links below.

Two documents must be attached to the CIM course proposal for each GT Pathways course:

  1. An example syllabus for the course with the required GT Pathways language included.
  2. The CDHE GT Pathways Course Submittal Form & Institutional Verification for the appropriate GTP category (a link to the CDHE form is provided in the template documents)

Please contact the Curriculum & Catalog Unit or your UCC Representative with any questions or concerns about the GT Pathways resubmission process.
